Job Duties

- Assemble specified number of pieces of finished product as per work order instructions

- Wrap bands, label, and identify items for shipment

- Follow customers specifications for packaging

- Comply with all plant safety rules and guidelines

- General material handling duties including overhead crane and forklift usage

- Read job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements

- Observe machine operation to detect material defects or machine malfunctions

- Maintain all production and quality related reporting

- Setup and operate a slitter

Job Requirements

- High school diploma or GED is necessary

- 1-3 years in manufacturing industry is preferred. If applicants do not have manufacturing experience, on-the-job training will be offered.

- Previous machine operation, material handling, production or other warehouse related experience is mandatory.

- Basic math, measurement, computer skills, and ability to follow directions.

- NMP employees must be able to repeatedly lift up to 10lbs and occasionally lift up to 30lbs as needed.

- Ability to follow all safety and health regulations

- Prior expereince with picking, packing, operation of machinery, and/or knowledge of pickling and slitting is preferred.
