Location: North Seattle / Snohomish County, WA
You start the morning with a stand-up alongside your HR team, aligning on open requisitions, employee relations follow-ups, and upcoming policy updates. By mid-morning, you’re on the road to a nearby site, meeting with supervisors to coach through a performance discussion and ensure consistent, compassionate application of corrective actions. After lunch, you facilitate a hiring manager intake for a critical role, then jump into your HRIS to review data accuracy and benefits enrollment tasks. You wrap the day finalizing updates to the employee handbook and preparing a briefing for leadership on compliance with federal, state, and Washington employment laws.
- Provide day-to-day leadership, direction, and development for a capable HR team.
- Act as the primary HR contact for employees and leaders across several local sites—visible, approachable, and present.
- Travel locally as needed to build relationships and deliver consistent support.
- Manage employee relations with fairness and empathy; drive conflict resolution and coach on corrective action.
- Oversee performance management practices to ensure clarity, consistency, and accountability.
- Lead full-cycle recruiting, onboarding, and offboarding to create a seamless employee experience.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and Washington employment laws; maintain current policies, procedures, and the employee handbook.
- Oversee benefits administration and keep HRIS data and workflows running smoothly.
- Pitch in on any HR-related task—no job is too big or too small.- 5+ years of progressive HR experience.
- 3–5 years leading and managing an HR team.
- Strength in employee relations and conflict resolution.
- Experience supporting multi-location workforces.
- Hands-on generalist leadership style—comfortable toggling between strategy and execution.
- HRIS proficiency required.
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
