Recruiter

Job Summary: Rangefront Mining Services is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Recruiter to support geology and mining industry staffing efforts across a variety of exploration and production projects. In this role, you will identify, attract, and place skilled field and technical professionals—including geologists, core loggers, GIS staff, and field technicians—who directly support our clients’ operational success.

This role is ideal for someone early in their recruiting career who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys connecting with people, and is eager to develop specialization in mining and technical recruitment.

Responsibilities:

Candidate Sourcing & Pipeline Development

- Proactively source candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, university programs, and industry networks.

- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of geology, mining, and field-based talent.

- Participate in career fairs, campus events, and industry conferences to promote Rangefront opportunities.

- Maintain ongoing relationships with prospective candidates to support recurring and seasonal staffing needs.

Screening & Interviewing

- Conduct phone and virtual interviews to evaluate technical skills, field readiness, safety awareness, and culture fit.

- Review resumes for relevant experience in exploration, logging, mapping, sampling, or related mining tasks.

- Verify credentials, degrees, safety certifications, and field requirements as needed.

Candidate Placement & Onboarding Coordination

- Match qualified candidates to open roles based on skillset, experience, location, and client requirements.

- Coordinate pre-hire steps including background checks, drug screens, I-9/E-Verify, and documentation collection.

- Support onboarding activities such as safety orientation, PPE coordination, and site-specific requirements.

- Ensure all onboarding documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with internal and client standards.

Candidate Experience & Communication

- Maintain regular communication with candidates throughout the recruitment and onboarding process.

- Provide clear information regarding role expectations, schedules, compensation, and project details.

- Ensure a positive experience for every candidate, reinforcing Rangefront’s professional and supportive culture.

Administrative & ATS Management

- Maintain accurate records of all candidate activity in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).

- Track hiring progress, submit updates to internal teams, and ensure compliance with company procedures.

- Support weekly reporting, hiring metrics, and documentation audits as needed.

Qualifications:

- 1–3 years of recruiting or staffing experience (staffing agency or high-volume recruiting experience preferred).

- Strong sourcing skills and familiarity with job boards, social media recruiting, and proactive outreach.

- Experience with applicant tracking systems (Bullhorn preferred).

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.

- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple open roles simultaneously.

- Interest in learning mining, geology, and field-based operations to better understand candidate qualifications.

- High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and sound judgment.
