- Establish and enforce QA standards, processes, and procedures in alignment with ASME, NFPA, ISO, and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee internal and supplier audit programs to ensure compliance and performance excellence.
- Identify, track, and resolve quality-related issues across projects and vendors.
- Manage CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Action) processes, ensuring effective root cause analyses and lasting solutions.
- Mentor and certify QA personnel and auditors; champion a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
- Manage budgets, departmental performance, and external relationships with auditors, regulators, and certification bodies.
- Stay current with industry trends, standards, and emerging best practices in nuclear quality assurance.
- Promote a strong nuclear safety and quality culture throughout the organization.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
- 10+ years of experience in engineering or manufacturing QA, with 5+ years in nuclear-related QA.- Deep understanding of ASME NQA-1, ISO 9000, 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, and commercial grade dedication processes.
- Proven experience leading audits and compliance programs.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, including technical reporting.
- U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a DOE/NRC Q-Clearance (or active clearance preferred).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and QA software tools.
- Active DOE/NRC Q-Clearance or equivalent (DOD Top Secret).
- Advanced degree in Engineering or related field.
- Certified NQA-1 Lead Auditor or equivalent certification.
- Experience with UF6 processing, enrichment systems, or nuclear fuel cycle technologies.
- Background in EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) or nuclear facility operations.
- Familiarity with NRC licensing and compliance processes.
