Overview

We are seeking an experienced Site Quality Manager / QAQC Manager to support a new utility‑scale solar EPC project. This is a hands‑on, field‑based role with no direct reports, ideal for someone who enjoys being on site, working closely with construction and technical teams, and ensuring quality is executed correctly from the ground up.

This role reports directly to the Regional Quality Manager and focuses on execution, inspections, and on‑site quality assurance rather than people management.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide hands‑on quality oversight for construction activities on a utility‑scale solar EPC project

- Implement and maintain site‑specific QA/QC plans, inspection procedures, and testing requirements

- Conduct field inspections, site walks, first‑install reviews, and turnover support

- Identify quality issues, lead corrective actions, and support root‑cause analysis

- Review drawings, specifications, and construction activities for compliance

- Coordinate closely with construction, engineering, and safety teams

- Maintain accurate quality documentation, reports, and records

- Support site acceptance testing (SAT) and project closeout activities

Required Qualifications

- Must have EPC solar project experience (required – contract will not consider non‑EPC solar backgrounds)

- Strong hands‑on field quality experience (required)

- Experience in QA/QC on utility‑scale solar construction projects

- Solid understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and inspection processes

- Comfortable working on active construction sites full‑time

- Able to start immediately
