As a key member of our Technical Services team, you will report to an experienced program manager and play a critical role in delivering complex industrial projects. We are seeking a decisive and highly skilled project manager with deep experience in civil/earthworks, brownfield upgrades, and industrial site execution. This role requires someone who can independently lead large, multidiscipline projects. You will be responsible for full-cycle project management on technically demanding projects such as earthworks, reclamation scopes and other brownfield industrial initiatives. You will drive all phases of project planning and execution, ensuring integration of cost, schedule, scope, quality, health, safety, and environmental standards while navigating the complexities of an industrial site.
- Provide direct, hands-on leadership of complex industrial civil and brownfield projects, ensuring alignment to company objectives and standards.
- Oversee full-cycle project delivery, including study development, detailed engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning, managing scope, change, and execution strategy throughout.
- Lead and mentor project teams to ensure efficiency, productivity and compliance with Cameco and industry standards.
- Manage internal and external stakeholder relationships, secure resources, provide transparent reporting, develop mitigation strategies, and proactively manage project risk.
- Promote a culture grounded in safety, accountability and operational excellence.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in a related field;
- A minimum of 10 years of progressive project experience specifically within industrial environments (e.g. mine sites and heavy industrial operations);
- Equivalent combination of education and work experience considered;
- Demonstrated experience independently leading civil/earthworks, brownfield, reclamation, or containment related projects;
- Proven ability to manage full project lifecycle, including engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning, in an operational industrial setting;
- Strong capability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment while building trust and strong relationships across diverse teams; and
- Willingness and ability to travel to northern Saskatchewan sites to support construction and commissioning activities.
- Background in civil, environmental or related engineering disciplines, with experience supporting maintenance or sustaining capital projects;
- PMP certification, trade certification, or professional engineering designation (or eligibility for designation); and
- Experience in industrial reclamation, earthworks, tailings/containment, or brownfield upgrades withing operating facilities.
