Project Coordinator

Job Overview

The Project Coordinator is responsible for the planning, execution and completion of engineering projects, ensuring they align with Company specifications.

Responsibilities

- Collaborate with project stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.

- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, timelines, and schedules.

- Identify and allocate resources required for project implementation.

- Track and distribute spare parts inventory.

- Facilitate communication between Project Managers, key internal and external suppliers and shippers.

- Track project milestones and deliverables to ensure timely completion.

- Maintain accurate and organized project documentation, including meeting minutes, reports, and project status updates.

- Compile comprehensive project reports for stakeholders and management.

- Other duties as required.

Qualifications

- Degree or diploma in an engineering discipline required.

- Experience in a project coordination or similar role within the engineering/manufacturing sector (including co-op or internship experience).

- Experience with large capital projects is an asset.

- Strong proficiency with 2D/3D CAD software (AutoCAD, NanoCAD, Solidworks, etc.).

- Advanced proficiency in Excel (e.g., pivot tables, formulas, data analysis) with experience managing large datasets and generating complex reports.

- Superior ability to multitask with a strong passion to drive projects to successful completion.

- Excellent organizational and judgement skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

- Superior problem-solving and analytical skills, with a proactive approach to challenges.

- Ability to work well under pressure and within tight and changing deadlines.

- Display strong sense of ownership with a desire to learn new knowledge necessary to succeed.

- Agility to move fast in an environment where things are sometimes loosely defined and may have competing priorities or deadlines.

- Flexibility to take calls outside of regular work hours to address critical project needs, unexpected issues, or urgent client concerns requiring immediate attention.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $51,500.00 - $55,000.00 per year
