Role Summary:
We are seeking a Project Coordinator to join our team in Calgary, AB. You will assist the project managers in delivering projects from conception through to completion. Working under the mentorship of a Project Manager, you will act as the main point of contact for the client, assisting in managing the full execution of the project.
- Coordinates responsibilities and follows up on action items with project teams.
- Assists Project Managers with full project execution. Acts as the main point of contact for clients as required.
- Works with client representatives throughout all stages including: engineering, drafting, construction and contracts.
- Facilitates or participates in project kick-offs, bid reviews and progress meetings.
- Manages suppliers and subcontractors.
- Administers project controls; including change management, quality management and schedule management.
- Maintains detailed records of all dates, drawings, documents and correspondence (both written and verbal) related to projects.
- Monitors and controls the distribution of all project documents and records.
- Creates and tracks project progress and costs.
- Analyzes projects based on budget and forecasts.
- Creates, schedules and maintains procedures for successful execution.
- Generates invoices and change orders on a timely basis
- Ensures projects are completed on time, on budget and according to customer expectations, exceeding requirements where possible.
- Other duties as required.
- Four years’ project coordination experience desired.
- Oil and gas industry experience preferred.
- Must be highly self-motivated and demonstrate exceptional leadership skills.
- Excellent communication with the ability to interpret needs and express ideas clearly.
- Superior customer service skills with the ability to deliver results according to client specifications.
