CMI sources and processes recycled ferrous and non-ferrous metals across North America and ensure they do not end up in a landfill or go to waste. Our recycling stream ensures that all the ferrous and non-ferrous metals that enter our yards will create something new again!

The Project Coordinator role is perfect for someone eager to learn, motivated to grow, and excited by getting projects over the finish line. You’ll support operational initiatives, coordinate across teams, and gain hands-on experience with the kind of projects that actually move the business forward.
- Support the planning, execution, and tracking of industrial operations-focused projects
- Assist with project schedules, workplans, timelines, and status reporting
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders
- Track deliverables, risks, dependencies, and action items
- Prepare project documentation, presentations, and progress updates
- Help ensure projects stay aligned with timelines, budgets and quality
- Proven ability to build effective working relationships with internal stakeholders, colleagues, and external partners
- Other duties as assigned
- Completion of a college or university undergraduate program
- Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in project coordination
- CAPM certification (Certified Associate in Project Management) is an asset
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to remain flexible while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- High level of attention to detail with a strong commitment to accuracy
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to review information, identify issues, and support sound decision-making
