Brooks Utility Products is seeking a highly motivated self-sufficient Production Planner
- Interfaces with customer service, engineering, sales & operations with planning and maintaining a master build schedule for all Brooks products.
- Develop understanding of the requirements of the business from all sources and distilling these requirements into a defined schedule for the operations team to work toward.
- Main point of contact for customer service regarding product availability and timing.
- Supports continuous improvement projects within the company.
- Coordinate with Purchasing on ordering parts and raw materials, deliveries and orders.
- Set priorities between competing interests to minimize customer impact.
- Tracking of On Time Delivery, develops recovery plans for any past due with operations team.
- Works closely with customer service, sales & production to define and maintain a daily, weekly, monthly and 6 months forecast of production.
- Working closely with the production supervisors and team leads to ensure products are built in a timely and efficient manner.
- Maintains and creates reports relevant to daily, weekly, and monthly production operations.
- Other duties as required by specific business unit assigned.
- At least 5 years in a manufacturing environment; high volume, high mix preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal skills.
- Dedication to delivering high quality products on time.
- Highly experienced working within ERP systems (e.g., Epicor, SAP etc.).
- Excellent Excel skills. Experience in Automation Applications a bonus (Power BI, Power Automate)
- Ability to analyze data and produce meaningful metrics to track and follow up on performance.
- Experience managing complex projects with proven results. Collaboration with technical teams focused on MES/MRP improvements a bonus.
- The ability to prioritize various tasks, communicate information through written and verbal means, and solve complex problems through a variety of resources.
