PRODUCTION PLANNER

Summary/Objectives

The Production Planner helps manage and coordinate the schedule for the paint manufacturing operations at NPF. This role is responsible for ensuring efficient use of materials, equipment, and labor while meeting customer demand, quality standards, and delivery timelines.

Essential Functions

- Plan and coordinate paint production and process.

- Act as informational liaison between NPS and NPF.

- Collaboration with Sales, Quality, Operations, and Production Teams.

- To be an active member of the NPF Management team.

- Attend and provided daily updates for customer meetings.

- On site customer interaction and order fulfillment updates.

- Advise Sales Department of capabilities and capacities.

- Confirm Production Orders.

- Preparation of paperwork and load entries for customer shipments.

Required Experience

- OPTS Experience preferred but not required

- SAP Experience preferred but not required

- 1-3 years of Production Planner/Scheduling experience preferred but not required ideally in a manufacturing environment

This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud at times. Environment is not fully climate controlled.
