We are seeking an Office Manager / Production Planner
who acts as the "glue" of our US operations. You will be the heartbeat of our Wood Dale facility, wearing multiple hats to ensure our office runs smoothly while simultaneously orchestrating the production schedule for our metal recycling lines.
This is
nota typical 9-to-5 administrative role. We need a "jack of all trades"—someone who is hungry to learn, eager to take ownership, and willing to jump into any task, big or small, to help the team succeed.
- Own the Schedule:
Coordinate production schedules to ensure we meet monthly output targets
- Inventory Control:
Manage the flow of raw materials and finished goods (briquettes). Ensure we never run out of critical consumables or shipping supplies.
- Logistics:
Coordinate shipping and receiving, ensuring material arrives from partners and finished briquettes are delivered to customers on time.
- Data Entry:
Maintain accurate production logs and operational data to help us track efficiency and machine uptime.
- Facility Management:
Serve as the primary point of contact for our Wood Dale facility. Manage vendors, utilities, and building maintenance to keep our HQ safe and operational.
- Visitor Experience:
Manage the front-of-house experience for investors, customers, and partners visiting our demo center. Ensure the facility is "tour-ready" at all times.
- Team Support:
Assist the US leadership in ad-hoc administrative projects.
- Step in to support Sales & Marketing with trade show prep or sample shipments.
- Assist with HR onboarding for new hires as our team grows.
- Hungry & Ambitious:
You are early in your career (or young at heart) and looking for a role where your trajectory is limited only by your own drive. You view this not just as a job, but as a chance to build a company.
- High Agency:
You don't wait for permission to do the right thing. You operate with urgency and a "see it, fix it" mentality.
- Organized:
You thrive in a startup environment where priorities shift rapidly. You can juggle a vendor call, a production spreadsheet, and a visitor arrival simultaneously without breaking a sweat.
- Tech Savvy:
Comfortable with G-Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides), Slack, and willing to learn new inventory or ERP systems quickly.
- Mission-Driven:
You are excited by the prospect of decarbonizing a massive global industry and building a sustainable future.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 1-3 years of experience in an operations, administrative, or manufacturing environment is a plus, but we hire for
attitude over aptitude
.
- Must be able to work on-site in Wood Dale, IL daily.
- Impact:
Work on technology that tangibly reduces global carbon emissions.
- Growth:
We are entering a massive growth phase. As we scale, your role and responsibilities will grow with us.
- Culture:
Join a global team of experts passionate about solving hard problems
