Parts Specialist

Dakota Steel and Trim, Inc. is family owned since 1992 and was the first privately incorporated Roll Former in South Dakota. We continue to grow, and at two plants with over 175,000 square feet of manufacturing and materials storage, we are now servicing a 5 state area in a growing Dealer Network.

As a parts picker, you are the person to pick the product before it delivers to our customers. We are looking for someone who has attention to detail and is a team player. You will work from order tablets to build loads using a forklift. You will load metal panels, trim and accessories onto our trailers and customers' vehicles. Each type of loading requires strict attention to order accuracy with respect to loading outgoing trucks and unloading incoming trucks.

Qualified Candidates:

- Experience Driving a Forklift: driving forward, backwards, lifting & lowering the boom, maneuvering in tight areas without damaging the product

- Experience in a manufacturing environment

- Parts picking experience

- Regular attendance and reliable transportation

Physical Requirements of the job:

- Lift up to 50lbs unassisted

- Stand/Walk on concreted floors for 8+ hours a day

- Wear PPE to include company-provided safety glasses and gloves. Up to $100 reimbursement safety-toe shoes!
