The Parts Sales Assistant supports the Parts Department by assisting with parts delivery, inventory movement, and customer service while learning internal systems and parts sales processes. This position is primarily delivery focused, with opportunities to develop sales knowledge and advance within the department.
- Deliver parts to customers, vendors, at job sites in a safe and timely manner
- Load, unload, and transport parts and materials as required
- Assist Parts Sales team with order processing, quoting, and basic customer support
- Learn and utilize the Excel Machinery’s parts and inventory management systems
- Pull, stage, and organize parts for delivery or customer pickup
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain required documentation
- Assist with inventory organization, stocking, and housekeeping in the parts area
- Communicate effectively with customers, drivers, and internal teams
- Follow all safety policies, procedures, and DOT requirements
- Must be able to hook up, tow and back a trailer
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Monday – Friday
- 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Overtime may be required based on business needs
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
- Ability to lift, carry, and move parts and materials as required
- Basic computer skills and willingness to learn internal systems
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the workday
- Ability to lift up 50-75lbs
