Parts Manager

Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Parts Manager to oversee the procurement, inventory, and distribution of natural gas engine and compressor parts. The ideal candidate will possess strong inventory management skills, mechanical knowledge, and experience within the gas compression industry.

Duties Include:

- Lead parts depart. staff while using our Vision and Mission Statements and Cor Values.

- Responsible for inventory preparation and reporting on quarterly inventories.

- Manage inventory levels and safety stocks.

- Generate and update quotes with correct parts pricing in a timely matter.

- Ensure parts requests are filled on time.

- Provide parts to internal and external customers.

- Process sales and service order parts sales.

- Review parts margins on all sales and service orders prior to invoicing.

- Achieve revenue and margin targets.

- Source parts from vendors and branches to fill parts orders.

- Generate and review reports on Sales, Service and Purchasing.

- Maintain proper phone etiquette.

- Be available to participate in the on call rotation

- Assist in the promotion of Bidell products and services.

- Ensure Parts Depart. expenses and working capital are in line with company budget

- Other Duties as required

Qualifications:

- Journeyman Parts Certificate or equivalent

- Strong customer service and communication skills.

- Work as a team player with all staff and all other branch locations.

- Well organized and efficient.

- Detail Oriented for accurate paperwork.

- Able to prioritize multiple tasks and work independently with minimal supervision.

- Strong computer skills.

- Able to meet deadlines and be prepared to work extended hours when required.

- Minimum 8 years industry experience preferred but willing to train the right candidate

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40.00-$48.00 per hour
