Part Time Office Assistant

Helix Water District has an exciting opportunity as a part-time Office Assistant – Guest Services at beautiful Lake Jennings in Lakeside. We are looking for a dynamic individual who thrives in a vibrant outdoor environment, providing top-notch administrative and customer service support for our beloved lake and campground operations.

The part-time Office Assistant – Guest Services position is often the first person a guest meets when visiting Lake Jennings. Providing a friendly smile and helpful administrative and customer support is the key to success in this position. You will have a variety of duties such as processing invoices, assisting customers onsite and over the phone, answering questions, providing help with reservations, collecting payments and making deliveries to campsites. All of this while maintaining a friendly, professional demeanor and demonstrating the desire to learn new tasks.

Typical Work Hours

- 15 – 20 hours per week with shifts ranging from 4 to 8 hours

- Sunday – Thursday Shifts: scheduled between the hours of 7:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.

- Friday & Saturday Shifts: scheduled between the hours of 7:30 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.

- This position will not exceed 950 hours per fiscal year (July 1 – June 30)

- Ideally, we need someone with flexible availability that can work 4 – 5 shifts/week
