Position Summary: BFC Architectural Metals is a well-established metal fabrication shop which serves local, national, and international customers from our production facility in SeaTac, Washington. We are a hard-working group of folks who work collaboratively and love taking on diverse and challenging projects. We are seeking a part-time bookkeeper to back-fill a positions that is coming open due to retirement.
The ideal candidate will have a strong hands-on background in bookkeeping/accounting, great organization, prioritization, and time management skills. If this sounds like you, we want to talk to you!
Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual otherwise qualified must be able to perform each overall duty and responsibility satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, additional qualifications, and/or ability required.
Overall Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Work collaboratively with other employees and report to General Manager.
Reconcile Books, monthly bank statements, monthly credit card statements
Language Skills: Ability to read, comprehend and explain documents in English. Effective verbal and written communication.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, percentages, area, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic math including fractions and decimals.
Education and/or Experience: A minimum of 5 years combined experience in small business accounting or bookkeeping.
