We are a well-established commercial landscaping company seeking a detail-oriented, proactive Bookkeeper & Office Assistant with strong QuickBooks experience. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a small team environment and takes pride in keeping things organized, accurate, and running smoothly.
Duties
•Manage accounts receivable and ensure timely invoicing and collections.
•Assist with payroll processing and maintain accurate employee records.
•Perform general ledger reconciliation and support double entry bookkeeping.
•Utilize accounting software, including QuickBooks, to manage financial transactions.
•Prepare financial reports and assist in financial report writing.
•Ensure compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) in all accounting practices.
•Provide administrative support, including answering phones, scheduling appointments, and maintaining office supplies.
•Collaborate with team members to streamline office processes and improve efficiency.

•Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
•Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
•Strong communication skills and a positive, team-first attitude
•Self-starter who can work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
•Comfortable working in a fast-paced, small-office setting
Preferred Qualifications:
•High school diploma or equivalent
•Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required
•Familiarity with the landscaping or construction industry a bonus
