P6 Scheduler

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced P6 Scheduler to join our construction management team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and analyzing project schedules to ensure timely completion of construction projects. This role requires a strong understanding of project management principles, construction estimating, and construction site coordination. The P6 Scheduler will collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and field teams to facilitate effective project execution using advanced scheduling tools and software.

Responsibilities

- Develop detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 and other construction management software.

- Monitor project progress, update schedules regularly, and identify potential delays or conflicts.

- Coordinate with project teams to ensure schedule adherence and adjust plans as necessary.

- Integrate data from construction estimating, contracts, and site activities into comprehensive schedules.

- Utilize tools such as ProCore, Bluebeam, HeavyBid, and Primavera P6 for effective project planning and tracking.

- Assist in resource allocation and time management to optimize project workflows.

- Provide schedule reports and analysis to stakeholders for informed decision-making.

- Support project management in contract administration and scope management related to scheduling.

- Ensure compliance with safety standards and construction site protocols during scheduling activities.

Requirements

- Proven experience with Primavera P6 is essential; familiarity with Primavera P6 Enterprise Project Portfolio Management is preferred.

- Strong knowledge of construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, HeavyBid, and other relevant tools.

- Experience in construction estimating, contracts administration, and project coordination within the construction industry.

- Solid understanding of construction site operations, safety protocols, and project management principles.

- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.

- Strong communication skills for collaboration with diverse teams and stakeholders.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

- Prior experience with heavy civil or commercial construction projects is highly desirable. This position offers an opportunity to contribute significantly to large-scale construction projects while utilizing advanced scheduling techniques and tools essential for successful project delivery.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
