Outside Sales Representative

Overview

We’re looking for a motivated Outside Sales Representative to sell engineered metal buildings and building components. This role focuses on building relationships, finding new customers, and helping clients find the right solutions for their projects.

Responsibilities

- Find and develop new sales opportunities within your territory

- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers

- Utilize the ERP system to support quoting and customer management

- Read and interpret architectural drawings

- Negotiate pricing and successfully close sales

- Collaborate closely with the inside sales team

- Travel to and work from our Huntsville and Lufkin sales offices a few days each month as needed

- Stay informed on industry trends and market conditions

Skills

- Proven experience in outside sales

- Knowledge of metal buildings and building components

- Demonstrate working knowledge of MBS software

- Strong communication and negotiation skills

- Ability to manage multiple accounts and sales territory

- Compensation: Salary starting at $55,000 annually, plus commission.

- Profit sharing: Quarterly profit sharing through performance results and commitment to continuous improvement.

- Schedule: Monday–Friday, no nights or weekends.
