Office Assistant

Pacific Steel & Recycling in Havre, MT has an opening for a full-time Office Assistant. Pacific Steel & Recycling is an employee-owned "ESOP" company where every employee is a teammate and an owner.

Position Summary:

In this position the employee-owner will help assist management with various tasks that involve the recycling of mostly metal products and the selling of new steel products in a team- and customer-service oriented industrial environment.

Qualifications:

- High School Diploma or equivalent GED required

- Must have the ability to multitask in an often fast-paced work environment

- Prior knowledge of steel sales preferred

- Has the ability to communicate well with others in person, on phone and email

- Is comfortable with counting and using basic math throughout the day

- Likes using computers, and ideally already has familiarity with software systems such as Microsoft Office

- Can easily switch back and forth between standing, sitting and walking short distances throughout the work day

- Enjoys being a team player

The successful candidate must be ambitious, have a great attitude toward the company and other team members, and have excellent customer service skills. To be considered, applicant must pass a background screening, drug testing, and an integrity test.
