Mechanical Design Engineer

NPower Solutions is working on staffing multiple Mechanical Design Engineer

positions, supporting growth initiatives for

. These positions have the potential for remote work, with occasional visits to the site. We are seeking Mechanical Design Engineers to support the following projects and nuclear sites listed below:

Extended Power Uprate (EPU):

- LaSalle (Marseilles, IL)

- Calvert Cliffs (Lusby, MD)

Measurement Uncertainty Recapture Projects (MUR):

- Dresden (Morris, IL)

- Quad Cities (Cordova, IL)

- Clinton (Clinton, IL)

Qualifications:

- Previous nuclear experience is required

- Previous Design/Mechanical Engineer experience is required

- EPU experience is preferable

Duties:

- Perform engineering and technical tasks as assigned by supervision applying general engineering principles.

- Assure all engineering products prepared are in accordance with applicable safety analyses, industry codes, and all regulatory requirements.

- Participate in the development and implementation of effective processes and techniques at appropriate levels of detail and in compliance with established policies and procedures.

- Recommend format and methodology improvements to standard processes and procedures.
