Mechanical Design Engineer

Overview

Volta Fabrication is seeking a hands-on Mechanical Design Engineer to support design and manufacturing of gas process equipment and engineered skids.

Responsibilities

· Develop mechanical and process designs from customer requirements

· Develop shop drawings and collaborate with fabricators to design equipment optimized for efficient manufacturing

· Create drawings, P&IDs, and engineering documentation

· Support CAD design (SolidWorks preferred), calculations, and code compliance

· Specify materials and support procurement

· Provide manufacturing, project, and technical support

· Assist with troubleshooting, product development, and occasional field support (Travel)

Qualifications

· Engineering degree or equivalent technical experience

· SolidWorks or similar CAD experience preferred

· Mechanical aptitude and strong attention to detail

· Self-starter with problem-solving skills and willingness to learn

Will consider a Hybrid work schedule for the right candidate, salary based on experience.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
