Frog Creek Partners is growing, and we're looking for a hands-on, mission-driven team member to join us as our Installation & Manufacturing Lead. You'll play a vital role in assembling, deploying, and servicing our Gutter Bin® stormwater filtration systems across North America and beyond, directly contributing to cleaner rivers, lakes, and oceans.
This is not a sit-behind-a-desk role. This is a build it, haul it, install it, weld it, and make it work better kind of role. You'll be deeply involved in both shop and field operations, leading small crews in demanding physical work across varied environments. As we scale, you'll help develop systems, train team members, and potentially grow into an operational leadership position.

- Lead assembly, testing, and prep of Gutter Bin® systems and parts
- Perform welding, cutting, drilling, and other fabrication work
- Coordinate with off-site metal fabricators for accurate production and delivery
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment
- Manage physical inventory of parts, materials, and equipment
- Assist in the development of assembly processes, quality control procedures, and workflow improvements
- Lead small field crews during product installations and service events across the U.S. and Canada
- Serve as a safety lead for crew members and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with all safety protocols
- Oversee safety, traffic control, and on-site coordination
- Troubleshoot product performance issues in the field
- Work in confined spaces, varied weather conditions, and physically demanding environments
- Train clients and internal team members on system operation and maintenance
- Ensure on-site execution aligns with project quality, budget, and timelines
- Coordinate with other team members to plan schedules, allocate labor and resources, and coordinate equipment logistics
- Drive company vehicles and haul equipment, including cross-border travel to Canada
- Support RFP and proposal efforts by providing field and installation input
- Work with vendors, subcontractors, municipalities, and internal staff
- Contribute to scaling our manufacturing, shop, and field service capabilities- 3–5+ years' experience in manufacturing, mechanical trades, construction, water infrastructure, or field operations
- Demonstrated proficiency in welding (MIG, TIG, or stick)
- Experience leading crews or projects with responsibility for outcomes
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Proficient with mechanical tools, shop safety, and fabrication equipment
- Highly organized with strong communication skills
- Commercial Driver's License (CDL), or willingness to obtain one within 3 months of hire
- Valid passport, or willingness to obtain one within 6 months of hire
- Willingness to travel approximately 50% or more of the time, including potentially international travel
- Clean driving record and ability to safely tow and back a trailer
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Google Sheets, and open to learning new technology and AI tools
- Willing to undergo a 6-month trial period and pre-employment screening
- Ability to lift and move 100–150 lbs using proper technique and assistive devices
- Able to work full days outdoors in varied weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and wind
- Able to work in confined spaces and on your feet for extended periods
- Comfortable performing sustained physical labor throughout the workday

- Degree or certification in mechanical, industrial, or environmental tech fields
- Experience with manufacturing process improvement or equipment maintenance
- Familiarity with municipal or environmental infrastructure projects
- Prior startup or small company experience
- Spanish language skills (any level) or willingness to develop proficiency with key words and phrases
- Experience working in environments with varied roles and evolving responsibilities
