Coating Technology, Inc. is one of the fastest-growing plating companies in the region. We are seeking a Maintenance Mechanic / Technician to maintain and repair a variety of plating equipment, pumps, motors, and handle pipe and electrical installations. This role requires adaptability and problem-solving skills in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same.

As part of our commitment to long-term customer relationships and continued growth, we need an experienced professional who can diagnose and repair equipment issues quickly to minimize downtime, perform preventative maintenance, and assist with commissioning new equipment.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain and repair equipment, machinery, and electrical/mechanical systems using schematics, wiring diagrams, and diagnostic tools.

- Diagnose and troubleshoot production machine issues.

- Collaborate with team members on equipment installations and facility projects.

- Implement temporary solutions when OEM parts are unavailable.

- Perform preventative maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems.

- Safely operate mobile equipment (e.g., forklifts, cranes).

- Support commissioning of new equipment.

Requirements

- Proven experience in equipment maintenance and repair.

- Ability to interpret technical drawings and use diagnostic tools (e.g., multimeter).

- Strong troubleshooting skills for electrical and mechanical systems.

- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Willingness to work 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, with overtime as needed.

Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 50.0 per week
