Job Overview
Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems while ensuring equipment runs safely and efficiently. Requires formal training, strong mechanical aptitude, ability to read schematics, and compliance with safety protocols.
A Day In The Life
- Prefer knowledge of: Hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, valves, gears, bearings, seals
- Required to do maintenance, preventative maintenance, keeping maintenance records, repairs and troubleshooting.
- Set-up, install and ensuring machinery and equipment to work according to its purpose
- Must have strong mechanical aptitude
- On occasion may have to lift up to 50 lbs, perform jobs at industrial roof level.
- Must be able to read, interpret, troubleshoot and assemble from blueprints and schematics (Metric and Imperial units)
- Must be able to communicate in English (verbal and writing)
- Must have formal training in Maintenance/Hydraulics. Require to provide documentation
- Must comply with safety protocols
- From time to time help with plant maintenance
- Run production machine when no setups are needed
