Maintenance Mechanic

Schuylkill Energy Resources, Inc. (SER), a small Independent Power Producer (IPP), is looking to add a Mechanic to its Maintenance Shop. SER offers a tremendous benefit package and competitive wages, complete with a bonus package.

Job Duties include, but are not limited to:

- Inspect, dismantle, repair and reassemble all types of equipment. Including but not limited to pumps, fans, conveyors, valves, compressors, gearboxes, blowers, pugmills, and pneumatic equipment.

- Demonstrate skills in welding and troubleshooting plant equipment.

- Repair or replace defective piping or fittings.

- Perform rigging and fabrication.

- Periodic on-call schedule.

- Generate maintenance requests to repair equipment.

- Responsible for safety and cleanliness of designated work areas in plant and shop.

- Operate forklift, bobcat, and backhoe.

The successful candidate will be expected to follow OSHA and MSHA regulations, all plant procedural and safety policies, and Lock Out Tag Out procedures.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour

Education:

- High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

- Maintenance: 2 years (Preferred)
