Your Impact in This Role

As a

Maintenance Mechanic

, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

- Maintain spare parts inventory and order parts as needed.

- Perform general preventative maintenance and repairs on facility machinery and equipment (e.g., conveyors, forklifts, loaders).

- Troubleshoot and repair basic electrical issues and pneumatic valves.

- Weld, fabricate, and patch steel components as needed.

- Rig and install motors, conveyor pulleys, and other heavy machinery.

- Maintain and back up sorting computer software and parameters.

- Complete daily maintenance logs and manage preventive maintenance programs.

- Communicate equipment issues across shifts and support team efforts.

- Provide on-the-job training to new employees and serve as backup for other technicians.

What You Bring To The Table

- High School Diploma/GED preferred

- Ability to manage time and prioritize effectively

- Team player, able to lead and contribute to a team effort

- Excellent communication and people skills

- Analytical problem solving and troubleshooting skills

- 1-3 years of maintenance experience preferred

- Able to work safely and efficiently

- Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings and schematics preferred

- Glass processing knowledge is a plus
