- Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on manufacturing machinery and facility systems to minimize downtime.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters.
- Operate and program programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to support automation processes.
- Conduct welding repairs and fabrications as needed to maintain equipment integrity.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks including plumbing, HVAC, electrical wiring, and residential painting projects.
- Supervise or assist junior team members during maintenance activities while ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Read and interpret schematics and technical diagrams to diagnose issues effectively.
- Support manufacturing operations by ensuring machinery is operating efficiently and safely.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance schedules that minimize production disruptions.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in facilities maintenance and manufacturing environments.
- Proficiency in electrical systems, including troubleshooting with ohmmeters and understanding electrical schematics.
- Experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) programming and troubleshooting.
- Skilled in welding techniques for repairs and fabrications.
- Ability to read technical schematics, diagrams, and manuals accurately.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly in English across diverse teams.
- Leadership or supervising experience demonstrating the ability to guide team members effectively.
- Familiarity with CMMS software for tracking maintenance activities.
- Knowledge of residential painting techniques is a plus for facility upkeep projects.
