An opportunity has arisen within the Production Department for a Machinist. The successful candidate will be based in Houston, TX and will report to the Production Manager. The Machinist is responsible for executing a broad range of precision machining operations to support the refurbishment of engine components and the fabrication or repair of specialized tooling as needed. All tasks are performed in accordance with established manuals, technical specifications, and process controls to ensure accuracy, quality, and consistency in every operation.

- Operate manual lathes, vertical lathes, milling machines, surface grinders, and cylindrical grinders to machine components to specified tolerances. Independently set up engine components on machining equipment with accuracy and consistency.
- Read, interpret, and apply information from technical drawings and blueprints.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions and tolerances with exceptional accuracy.
- Follow detailed written instructions, procedures, and process documentation with strong attention to detail.
- Perform routine cleaning, inspection, and preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Adhere to all quality standards, specifications, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Comply with all HS&E policies, procedures, regulations and instructions.
- Perform all assigned tasks in a safe and responsible manner.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 5-10 years of experience as a manual machinist
- Certificate from college or technical school preferred.
- Perform high degree of quality in all machined parts
- Maintain close tolerances up to .0005”
- High degree of accuracy to required limits on all machined parts
- High degree of accuracy using measurement equipment
All regular full-time employees are eligible to participate in our flexible work schedule, which consists of five (5) workdays of eight (8) hours in one week and four (4) days of ten (10) hours in the second week for a total of eighty (80) hours during two (2) consecutive work weeks. The schedule allows every second Friday to be taken provided the agreed hours of work are fulfilled. Employees can “opt-out” and work the regular work week.
