Logistics Coordinator

POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a motivated, results-driven Dispatcher/Logistics Coordinator to coordinate and administer the supply, distribution, and transportation of liquid fuels. Serving as the primary daily point of contact for customers, vendors, and internal teams, this role is critical to ensuring efficient operations, strong vendor relationships, accurate inventory management, and reliable fuel delivery.

This is a fast-paced, demanding position that requires daily interaction with Operations and Accounting. The Logistics Coordinator must demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multitask while maintaining accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate fuel supply, distribution, and transportation logistics

- Dispatch carriers and communicate market conditions or carrier constraints

- Order and manage inventory to maintain required fuel levels for customer accounts

- Analyze daily pricing to optimize fuel purchasing decisions

- Establish and maintain strong relationships with supply and transportation vendors

- Ensure the effective operation of external supply and distribution partners

- Support emergency fueling operations as needed

Qualifications

- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in transportation, dispatch, logistics, or a similarly demanding field

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask

- Exceptional attention to detail

- Extremely dependable and reliable

Prior experience in the fuel industry is a major plus.

Additional Requirements

This position requires availability to take customer calls after hours, on weekends, and on holidays. While after-hours calls are infrequent, availability is required as needed. Overtime hours in the office may be required during emergency fueling operations. A company-issued cell phone and laptop will be provided.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
