Logistics Coordinator

Position Summary:

Logistics Coordinator is responsible for management of shipments and receiving parts for projects & inventory. The Ideal candidate will have excellent communication & organization skills.

Responsibilities:

- Determine method of shipment and arrange shipping; prepare bills of lading, customs forms, invoices, and other shipping documents manually or by computer.

- Assemble containers and crates, record contents manually or by computer, pack goods to be shipped and affix identifying information and shipping instructions.

- Inspect and verify incoming goods against Packing slips, record shortages and reject damaged goods.

- Unpack and route goods to appropriate storage areas.

- Maintain internal, manual, or computerized record-keeping systems.

- May operate forklift, hand truck or other equipment to load, unload, transport, and store goods.

- Receive requests for parts, pick orders and, pack for shipment.

- Assist on Quarterly Inventory counts.

- Tidy warehouse

- Operational Excellence: Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives, consistently working towards the achievement of individual and team goals.

- Additional Duties: Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

- At least 1-2 years experience as Shipper / Receiver

- Ability to routinely lift and carry 50 lbs
