Position Overview
We are seeking a high-performing, results-driven Inside Sales Manager with proven residential solar experience to lead our growing inside sales team. This role is critical to driving lead conversion, sales performance, and revenue growth from inside sales operations. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with a strong background in solar sales, coaching, and team performance management.
Key Responsibilities
•Team Leadership: Recruit, train, manage, and mentor a team of inside sales representatives focused on residential solar sales.
•Performance Management: Set sales goals and KPIs; monitor, evaluate, and improve performance as needed.
•Sales Strategy: Collaborate with marketing and field teams to optimize lead flow, streamline processes, and improve conversion.
•Training & Coaching: Provide ongoing training in solar products, financing, objection handling, and closing techniques.
•Customer Experience: Uphold high standards of professionalism and service throughout the sales cycle.
•Cross-Department Collaboration: Ensure smooth handoffs between sales, design, and installation teams for accurate expectations and project success.
Qualifications
•Previous experience in residential solar is required.
•3+ years in inside sales, with at least 1 year in a leadership or management role.
•Strong understanding of solar products, financing options, and the sales process.
•Proven ability to lead teams and exceed sales goals.
•Excellent communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
•Organized, data-focused, and effective in fast-paced environments.
•Passionate about clean energy and making a real impact.
