As an Inside Sales Representative at Ashworth Awards, you will work directly with events, races, organizations, and businesses seeking high-quality recognition products. This role blends relationship-building, consultative selling, and project coordination. You will manage multiple customer accounts, collaborate closely with internal teams, and support customer projects from initial inquiry through fulfillment.
This position requires strong communication skills, organization, and a comfort level with multitasking in a fast-paced environment. Inside Sales Representatives work within the sales team and report directly to the Sales Manager.
- Manage and grow customer accounts while developing new and existing leads.
- Communicate with customers via phone, email, and video conferencing to understand needs and recommend appropriate products and solutions.
- Build and maintain long-term customer relationships that support repeat business and referrals.
- Collaborate with team members across sales, marketing, art, production, and operations to ensure projects are completed accurately and on time.
- Enter and manage sales orders, customer details, and notes while handling related administrative responsibilities.
- Monitor invoices, receivables, and multiple active customer projects simultaneously.
- Participate in sales and marketing initiatives to support business growth and brand consistency.
- Assist callers and customers as needed and take messages when appropriate.
- Occasional travel to conferences or trade shows may be required.
- Experience with standard sales concepts, practices, and procedures, preferably within awards, jewelry, promotional products, or a related industry.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and sales simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and organization.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including active listening.
- Comfort working in a collaborative team environment and contributing ideas.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace is required; experience with NetSuite or Oracle is a plus.
- Ability to adapt quickly, learn new systems and products, and take on a variety of tasks as needed.
- Comfortable performing administrative functions alongside sales responsibilities.
