Inside Sales Associate

New Jersey Natural Gas (NJNG), a subsidiary of New Jersey Resources is seeking an Inside Sales Associate to provide internal and external sales support to achieve new customer goals, margin and customer satisfaction goals.

Major Responsibilities:

- Manage inbound and outbound marketing and sales calls.

- Manage opportunities and create accurate leads, coding and remarks in the Customer Information System.

- Screen and qualify new construction, conversion and renewal marketing and sales inquiries.

- Provide market intelligence to assist new program development and initiatives.

- Manage, balance and dispatch field work based on customer needs and marketing resources.

- Proactively initiate activities to ensure high customer satisfaction levels.

- Key contact and resource for marketing program initiatives, examples include renewal program, generator inquiries, Realtor Program, Employee Lead Program, Community Conversion Program.

Position Requirements:

- High School diploma is required, as associates degree is preferred

- 0 to 3 years of sales or administrative experience preferred

- Organized, positive and highly motivated with excellent interpersonal skills

- Ability to work in a team environment across business units and professional disciplines

- Knowledge of Word, Outlook and other desktop applications.

Job Location Type is hybrid.

Other Details: Compensation: Expected base pay range for this role will be $59,000- $75,200.

Base pay is based on several factors including, experience, skills, and knowledge.

This role will be eligible to participate in an annual short term incentive program.
