Compensation

$65,000–$90,000 total compensation (Base pay + performance incentives)

Role Overview

We’re looking for an experienced Lead Residential HVAC Installer who can run installs start-to-finish, lead a crew, and deliver clean, professional work without constant supervision.

This is a hands-on field role. You will be responsible for install quality, job efficiency, and setting the standard for how installs are done at our company.

If you need micromanagement or cut corners, this isn’t the role for you.

What You’ll Do

- Lead residential HVAC installations (furnaces, ACs, heat pumps, boilers, mini-splits as applicable)

- Run installs from arrival to final walkthrough

- Ensure jobs are completed on time, on spec, and clean

- Lead and train apprentices/junior installers on proper install practices

- Communicate professionally with homeowners on job progress

- Verify materials and equipment are correct before and during install

- Maintain jobsite cleanliness and safety standards

- Minimize callbacks through quality workmanship

- Coordinate with the office and service team as needed

What We Expect

- 5+ years residential HVAC install experience

- Proven ability to run jobs independently

- Strong understanding of airflow, combustion, venting, electrical, and code compliance

- Clean installs — no hacks, no shortcuts

- Ability to lead, teach, and hold apprentices accountable

- Professional appearance and customer communication

- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

- EPA certification required
