HVAC Fabrication/Shop Supervisor

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Fabrication/Shop Supervisor to lead our production facility. This role is a blend of hands-on fabrication and strategic leadership, responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the sheet metal shop, managing a team of skilled fabricators, and ensuring all HVAC ductwork and components meet rigorous quality and project timelines

Key Responsibilities

- Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and mentor a team of 5 fabricators and semi-skilled workers, assigning daily tasks and inspecting work for quality.

- Production Management: Oversee the full duct fabrication process, ensure projects are completed on time and to quality standards.

- Technical Oversight: Read cut sheets to coordinate the fabrication of complex HVAC components.

- Safety & Compliance: Enforce strict OSHA safety standards and conduct regular safety meetings to maintain a zero-incident work environment.

- Quality Control: Maintain high manufacturing standards through regular inspections and adherence to SMACNA or local building codes.

Required Qualifications

- Experience: 5+ years of experience in HVAC sheet metal fabrication with at least 2 years in a lead or supervisory role.

- Technical Skills: Proficiency in operating shop machinery (brakes, shears, plasma cutters) and expertise in various welding techniques.

Pay: $56,729.06 - $68,318.88 per year
