Job Objective:
The Training Specialist is responsible for supporting the design, development, and delivery of learning and development programs that build employee capability and enhance performance across the organization. This role partners with the Director of Talent and Development and HR team to execute training initiatives aligned with the company’s talent strategy, competency framework, and business priorities.
The Training Specialist plays a key role in delivering high-quality learning experiences, maintaining training systems and content, and ensuring employees have access to the tools and resources needed to grow and succeed in their roles.
- Support the development and delivery of training programs aligned with organizational competencies, culture, business needs, and talent priorities established by the Talent and Development function
- Facilitate instructor-led and virtual training sessions for employees across various levels of the organization, ensuring engaging and effective learning experiences
- Partner with HR and business leaders to identify training needs and assist in conducting learning needs assessments
- Develop and maintain training materials, including presentations, job aids, e-learning modules, and facilitator guides
- Coordinate logistics for training sessions, including scheduling, communications, materials preparation, and vendor coordination
- Administer and maintain the Learning Management System (LMS), including course assignments, tracking completion, and reporting
- Track and analyze training effectiveness through participant feedback, assessments, and performance metrics; provide insights for continuous improvement
- Support the rollout of enterprise learning initiatives such as leadership development programs, onboarding, and compliance training
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to translate technical or operational content into effective training solutions
- Ensure training content remains current, relevant, and aligned with organizational changes and priorities
- Assist in reinforcing a culture of continuous learning and development across the organization

- Actively support and contribute to the company’s mission and vision through reliable, high-quality work
- Minimum of 3–6 years of experience in training, learning and development, or a related HR function
- Experience facilitating training sessions and/or developing instructional content
- Familiarity with adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies
- Experience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and training tools
- Strong organizational and project coordination skills with attention to detail
- Ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels of the organization
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to partner across functions
- Willingness to travel to field locations as needed (estimated 10–25%)
- Bachelor’s degree required. Preferably in Human Resources, Learning and Development, Organizational Development, or related field.
