HR Specialist (Hybrid)

The Human Resources Specialist is the primary point of contact for and provides critical support to candidates, hiring managers, and internal HR and business stakeholders to provide a world-class onboarding experience for newly hired and current employees. This will be a great role for individuals new to Human Resources who are looking for professional growth!

- Coordinates the end-to-end onboarding process, ensuring a great experience for new employees and a smooth start into their roles.

- Serve as primary point of contact for hiring managers and newly hired employees.

- Arrange for new hires to complete pre-employment drug test and DOT physicals, if applicable.

- Coordinate and deliver new hire orientation presentation.

- Ensure new hire paperwork is completed including I-9 verification.

- Provide support to other HR partners for employee benefit programs as well as leaves of absences.

- Serve as primary point of contact for company random drug testing program.

- Compiles and maintains personnel records.

- Updates employee files to document personnel actions.

- Partners with HR functions to build relationships within our company and contributes to a positive employee experience.

- Perform other HR-related duties and assist with special projects as assigned.

- Some travel to visit branches and attend career fairs may be required.

- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, or other business related field preferred.

- Professional certification in human resources (e.g., aPHR, PHR, SHRM-CP) preferred.

- Familiarity with HR Information Systems, Applicant Tracking Systems, and Candidate Management Systems. Familiarity with iCIMS and ADP Workforce Now preferred.

- Proficient in MS Office Suite.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

- Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects with attention to detail and accuracy.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team.

- Ability to always maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
