About This Role

As a Home Repair Technician, you are the "finishing touch" that ensures our customers’ homes look as good as—or better than—they did before their solar installation. This role is vital for maintaining our reputation for quality craftsmanship and high-level customer service.

You will be responsible for a variety of structural and aesthetic repairs, ranging from interior drywall patching to exterior roofing and concrete touch-ups.

Overall Responsibilities

- Drywall & Paint: Perform seamless sheetrock repairs, including patching holes, texturing, and paint matching to ensure interior walls are restored to their original condition.

- Roofing Repairs: Replace shingles and seal penetrations to ensure the integrity of the roof remains intact post-installation.

- Exterior Siding: Repair or replace minor sections of vinyl, wood, or fiber-cement siding damaged during the solar mounting process.

- Concrete Work: Perform minor concrete patching or smoothing for conduit runs or equipment pads.

- Site Inspection: Evaluate damage and determine the most efficient and cost-effective repair method.

- Customer Interaction: Communicate clearly with homeowners regarding the repair process and ensure their satisfaction before leaving the site.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in drywall finishing (taping, mudding, sanding), basic roofing, and general handyman tasks

- Detail-Oriented: A "perfectionist" mindset; the ability to blend repairs so they are invisible to the naked eye

- Problem-Solving: The ability to look at a structural issue and determine the best fix without constant supervision

- Physical Stamina: Comfortable climbing ladders, working on rooftops, and lifting up to 50 lbs.

- Professionalism: You are the face of the company in the customer’s home; a clean appearance and respectful demeanor are required.

22 - 28 USD per hour(Glen Burnie, MD)
