Guide: Hunting & Customer Relations

Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic, engaging Guide specializing in Hunting and Customer Relations to lead memorable outdoor experiences and foster strong relationships with our guests. The general purpose of this position is to provide a good hunting and fishing experience to our customers, as well as to do general maintenance on all vehicles and grounds.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Transportation of Guest to/from New Orleans Airport

- Hunting and Fishing Guide for each trip

- Assist with Maintaining Lodge Boats and Equipment

- Assist with Maintaining Lodge Grounds and Dock Area

- Assist with Maintaining Lodge Vehicles

- Willing to work some overtime and scheduled weekends

- Knowledge of and ability to follow all State, Federal, and Coast Guard hunting, fishing, and waterway rules and regulations.

Skills and Abilities Required:

- Excellent Customer Service and interpersonal/communication skills

- Good Attention to detail

- The ability to drive different types of boats and vehicles

- Light Construction Skills

- Light Mechanical Skills

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Light Computer skills. Must know how to navigate in the Microsoft Suite of Work and Excel.

- Will be required to do some training online.

Computer Equipment and Software Requirements:

- Light Computer skills. Must know how to navigate in the Microsoft Suite of Work and Excel.

- Will be required to do some training online.

Education and Experience Required:

- Must have First Aid Experience and Certification

- Captain License (6 Pack or Higher)

- Current Driver's License

- Hunter's Safety Course Certification

- Familiar with the waterways located in and around Houma, LA

Pay: $29.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 50.0 per week
