Job Title: Fleet Engineer / Fleet Specialist

Department: Fleet Support & Technical Services

Reports To: Fleet Procurement Supervisor

Location: Forest Park, GA

Position Summary

The Fleet Engineer / Fleet Specialist supports the Fleet Support & Technical Services organization by contributing to the design, specification, evaluation, and procurement of vehicles and equipment. This role collaborates closely with engineering, design, procurement, and field teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Engineering & Specification Support: Develop vehicle specifications, conduct evaluations, support technology adoption.

- Procurement & Sourcing Support: Assist with RFQs, technical evaluations, vendor assessments, and delivery tracking.

- Field & Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with operations teams, conduct site visits, gather field insights.

- Data, Analysis & Continuous Improvement: Analyze performance data, support modernization initiatives.

- Safety, Compliance & Documentation: Ensure compliance with DOT, OSHA, and internal safety requirements.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field preferred.

- 3–5 years of experience in fleet, engineering, or procurement roles.

- Strong analytical, communication, and technical skills.

Performance Indicators

- Accuracy and quality of specifications.

- Collaboration effectiveness.

- Supplier performance insights.

- Contributions to fleet modernization.
