We are seeking an experienced Controller to oversee financial operations within the Quebec region. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within an industrial/manufacturing company. This position requires a strong understanding of financial management and reporting.

- Oversee the preparation of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.

- Present financial reports to management and stakeholders.

- Implement cost control measures to optimize operational efficiency.

- Analyze production costs and recommend cost reduction initiatives.

- Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure profitability.

- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.

- Oversee internal and external audits.

- Identify and mitigate financial risks.

- Manage and mentor the finance team.

- Coordinate with other departments to ensure financial alignment with operational objectives.

- Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the finance team.

Qualifications

- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a controller.

- Experience in the industrial sector is highly preferred.

- Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting processes.

- Excellent analytical and decision-making skills.

- Proficiency in financial software and tools.

- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.

- Strong leadership and team management skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

- High level of integrity and reliability with a strong sense of urgency and results orientation.
