Controller - Finance & Business Operations

R&W Metal Fabricating and Design Inc. is a leading steel packaging manufacturer serving major industrial clients across North America. We are a family-run company with 65+ employees, known for our quality, innovation, and strong customer partnerships.

We’re looking for a hands-on, data-driven Controller who’s as comfortable with numbers as they are with technology - and who enjoys being involved beyond traditional accounting.

This role will lead financial oversight, play a key part in our ERP system implementation, and help modernize our business with better data and tools.

What You’ll Do:

- Manage day-to-day accounting, payroll, and reporting

- Prepare budgets, forecasts, and cash flow analysis

- Provide monthly financial insights to guide decision-making

- Play a key role in the selection and rollout of a new ERP system

- Support digitization and automation of financial/operational processes

- Leverage AI and modern software to improve reporting, forecasting, and efficiency

- (Optional) Support HR functions such as recruiting and employee relations

What We’re Looking For:

- 3+ years in a controller or senior accounting role, preferably in a manufacturing environment

- Strong working knowledge of Sage 50 or equivalent accounting software

- Experience or interest in ERP and technology adoption

- Detail-driven, organized, dependable and proactive

- Comfortable working independently and taking ownership

- HR experience is an asset but not required

- CPA designation is an asset but not required
