Financial Controller

Nelpro is recruiting a Finance Manager/Controller for a growing concrete/construction company. This position provides financial leadership through accurate reporting, cost control, and analysis to support operational and investment decisions.

Responsibilities

- Monthly financial reporting (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)

- Job costing (labor, materials, equipment, subcontractors)

- Track job profitability and identify cost overruns early

- Budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning

- Oversee AP/AR and support collections + vendor payments

- Improve reporting and financial processes for the business

- Coordinate with CPA for year-end and tax support

Qualifications

- 3+ years experience in accounting/finance (Controller, Finance Manager, or Senior Accountant)

- Construction/job costing experience strongly preferred

- Strong understanding of payroll, labor costs, and material-heavy jobs

- Strong Excel skills

- QuickBooks experience preferred

- Able to work hands-on in a small business environment

- Strong communication skills (can explain financials clearly)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
