Golden Vertex Corp is a mining company based in Bullhead City, AZ. The Moss Mine Complex is a precious metal, open pit surface mine specializing in gold/silver extraction. The Company operates Moss Mine located in Mohave County in northwestern Arizona, approximately a one-and-a-half-hour drive south of Las Vegas, Nevada. Golden Vertex Corp is currently seeking a qualified person for the position of Financial Manager for our Moss Mine project.

Position Summary

Golden Vertex Corp is seeking a strategic and results-driven Finance Manager to oversee financial operations, planning, and reporting. The ideal candidate will hold a bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting and have a minimum of six (6) years of progressive experience in organizational finance and/or accounting. Experience in the mining industry is strongly preferred. This role ensures financial integrity, regulatory compliance, and supports operational decision-making within a mining environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes for mining operations

- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports

- Analyze production costs, capital expenditures, and operational performance metrics

- Monitor cash flow, revenue streams, and cost controls across mining projects

- Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, mining royalties, and regulatory reporting requirements

- Oversee site-level financial controls and internal/external audit processes

- Support capital project evaluation, feasibility studies, and investment analysis

- Coordinate with operations teams to monitor cost per ton, equipment utilization, and project profitability

- Manage financial reporting related to inventory, fixed assets, and depreciation

- Ensuring the timely completion of month/quarter/year-end closing cycles

- Supervise and mentor finance/accounting staff

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field (required)

- Minimum six (6) years of relevant finance or accounting experience

- Mining industry experience preferred

- Strong knowledge of cost accounting, capital project accounting, and metals inventory accounting

- Proficiency in accounting software, ERP, SAP preferred and advanced Excel skills

- Solid understanding of GAAP and financial reporting and compliance requirements

- Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with mining production reporting and cost allocation

- Knowledge of regulatory and royalty reporting within the mining sector

- Experience working with a public company filer
