Field Service Technician Helper

We are currently seeking a Field Service Technician Helper to support our Field Service Technicians based in Leduc, AB in delivering exceptional service for our customers. This is a hands-on, learning-oriented role with the potential for growth into more advanced technical positions.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in the installation and commissioning of IJACK equipment at oil and gas sites

- Support technicians with diagnosing, servicing, and maintaining field equipment

- Help provide technical support and customer training alongside lead technicians

- Perform routine maintenance and shop-based prep work

- Maintain accurate records of service activities and parts usage

- Assist with inventory management in the warehouse or service truck

- Participate in toolbox talks and safety meetings, and always work in a safe and efficient manner

- Collaborate with field staff, shop technicians, and the broader IJACK team to ensure high service standards

What We’re Looking For

- High school diploma (or equivalent)

- Strong mechanical aptitude and eagerness to learn

- Willingness to travel and spend at least 1–2 days per week away from home

- A positive attitude and team-first mindset

- Ability to follow instructions, work independently, and take initiative

- Strong communication and basic problem-solving skills

- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

- Bonus: Experience in oilfield service or heavy-duty mechanical work is a plus
