Field Service Technician

Levare is a recognized industry leader in the design, manufacturing, and deployment of Electric Submersible Pumps and Horizontal Pumping Systems aiding oil and gas production worldwide.

We are currently accepting resumes for the position of HPS Field Service Technician to join our team.

Position Summary:

Install and service horizontal pumping systems equipment and ensure the units are running within the manufacturers recommendations and within all operating parameters as directed or requested by the Engineering, Technical and/or the Sales groups within Levare Canada Ltd. The HPS Field Technician is responsible for all service aspects of our HPS product lines, which include, but are not limited to commissioning, servicing, installation, field repairs, troubleshooting and sales support.

Duties Include:

- Assembly, installation and commissioning of Horizontal Pumping Systems.

- Service and trouble shoot HPS units that are installed in the field; ensure the equipment is running as per the application design.

- Calculate appropriate control system parameters and input into company standard motor controllers.

- Evaluate surface equipment HPS systems and recommend appropriate solutions to the customer.

Position Qualifications:

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

- Strong mechanical knowledge and technical problem solving skills.

- Ability to work on remote locations without immediate supervision.

- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

- Proficient computer skills.

- Demonstrated commitment to HSE expectations and requirements.

- Must comply with all safety and environmental procedures and guidelines, including those of our customers.

- High School diploma or equivalent.

- Ability to pass drug and alcohol screening.

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements:

- Continuously required to move about the facility/job site.

- Work is mostly in non-climate controlled environment.

- Continuous travel and on call required.

- Standing for long periods of time

- Exposure to shop and field elements such as noise, dust, odors and temperature variations.

- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment while in shop environment or on job site.

- Must be able to perform the physical requirements of the role, including material handling and manual tasks.

- This is a safety sensitive position.

This is a full-time, permanent, safety sensitive position that includes overtime as required. Specific training will be provided to qualified individuals. Must be physically fit to perform the responsibilities of the position, able to work safely and adhere to all safety policies, including those of our customers.
