We are seeking a Damage Prevention Supervisor for a full-time position located in Downstate NY (NYC or Long Island). The Damage Prevention Supervisor will oversee and implement processes and programs to reduce damage to utility infrastructure, ensuring the safety and reliability of service. Responsibilities include analyzing data, building reports, Power BI dashboards, assisting and supervising field teams, coordinating damage prevention activities, conducting safety inspections, training staff, and engaging with stakeholders to promote best practices in damage prevention and safety compliance.
- Strong knowledge and experience in damage prevention, utility industry practices, and safety standards.
- Proficiency in team supervision, training, and efficient workforce management practices.
- Skilled in communication and stakeholder engagement, with the ability to promote safety awareness and proactive collaboration.
- Capacity to perform safety and compliance inspections effectively within a utility environment.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills for addressing and resolving damage prevention challenges. Experience in regulatory compliance and safety protocols is a plus.
- Proficiency in utilizing software tools and systems related to project management, reporting, and field operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. Previous experience in a leadership role within the utility or construction industry is an advantage.
