We’re a family-oriented, customer-driven manufacturing company seeking a Customer Service Representative who thrives on accuracy, organization, and strong communication. In this role, you'll support a diverse portfolio of customers and products, requiring a keen eye for detail, a proactive mindset, and the ability to grasp complex processes and product nuances over time.
Responsibilities:
Customer Communication & Order Management
•Manage customer accounts across a wide range of industries and product types
•Receive, enter, and monitor customer orders via phone, email, and fax
•Verify and confirm accuracy of purchase orders (pricing, product, quantity, shipping terms)
•Communicate shipping updates, backorders, or changes to customers clearly and professionally
•Proactively address and resolve service issues, including replacements, delays, or complaints
•Serve as a reliable, knowledgeable point of contact for repeat and long-term customers
Internal Collaboration & Support
•Partner closely with Sales, Production, Shipping, Management and more to align on customer needs and priorities
•Stay up to date on product availability, shipping schedules, and account-specific requirements and changes
•Coordinate transportation and logistics for outgoing and incoming materials when needed
•Support the maintenance of customer databases and Excel order entry systems
Documentation & Detail Work
•Review and input order details with precision—every field matters
•Track and document changes across various internal systems while ensuring consistency and accuracy
Qualifications:
•2+ years of customer service experience, ideally in manufacturing, logistics, or supply chain
•Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and comfort learning new systems and procedures
•Exceptional attention to detail with a passion for doing things right the first time
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•Ability to manage multiple accounts and timelines with confidence and care
•High school diploma or GED required; additional training or certifications a plus
